With the development of economy, the process of rapid urbanization provides unprecedented opportunities as well as challenges to the fire safety work, and puts forward new requirements to the work of fire safety in urban regions. Domestic and overseas experts, scholars and enterprises have made great efforts on the research of this issue, and obtained many worthy achievements in the fire risk assessment in urban regions. But with the highly developed fire risk assessment method of today, the study of indicator system, which is used in the regional fire risk assessment, is still out of progress. Strengthen safety work of the assessment area, improve the fire safety environment of assessment area, to ensure the development of the university city has become an imminent, in urgent need of research and practical to solve the issue. This dissertation is based on the analysis of the characteristics of area and fire, on the basis of the research which majors in the structure of domestic city regional fire risk assessment index system. Then preliminary establish the evaluation index system by identify the main hazard evaluation of the regional fire.After the evaluation system established, this dissertation use the Delphi method in order to construct the index system of the rationality of validation by experts'experience. Finally this dissertation is confirmed by the regional characteristics, fire resistance level, area index of fire prevention and control and management and safety education of four aspects, a total of 28 height indicators after the selection of index system. Through calculation indicates that the relative importance degree of index system is:the regional fire resistance level>> management, and prevention and control of fire safety education> regional characteristics.To verify the applicability of the method, this paper took north district of University Town Campus of certain university in Kuning as an example to take model verification. It applied fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to judge the risk span of the north district of University Town Campus of certain university in Kuning. With high-to-low ranking for the fire risk of evaluated region, it can make the fire personnel in the region to determine the fire risk to be solved according to the order of priority and regional characteristics, and then to determine the types and methods of protection measures and improve the regional fire safety.
