The Research On Commercialbuilding Fire Risk Assessment

Commercial buildings are the place where the social activities are mainly conducted. In order to suit the rapid expanding demand of modern society, commercial buildings of all kinds of sizes and types supply varied business model and operation’s scope, not only attracting public and business opportunities but also fire risk. Facing both here and abroad commercial building fire accidents emerging in an endless and an alarming picture of deaths and property loss, how to reduce commercial building fire risk in an effective and convenient way becomes the problem generally concerned by many people.In order to prevent and decrease the fire risk of commercial building, fire risk assessment is an effective way. Basis of gathering document literature, then comparing and analyzing some staple fire risk assessment related to building risk, in accordance with commercial building’s feature of function compatibility and scope of operation variability, this paper chooses to separate fire risk assessment into three parts which are property, people and activity, so we can give better expression to whole process of fire risk, defenses and extent of damage. According to the actual condition of our country and the fire code, combining improved fire risk assessment and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, using improved empirical formula to reflect fire process instead of experts evaluating method, it can get rid of the effect of subjective factor on harbor evaluation to a certain extent and also provide some valuable complementary suggestions about fire control design.
