Origin of the building is made of human adaptation to climate in the passive strategy the first step. Millions of years, humans are passive adaptation to the survival of the natural environment, architectural harmony with nature. But in recent decades, as technology advances, human is the master of nature , a large area of natural large-scale transformation, processing, will result in the significant energy consumption, environment pollution. The resulting theory of sustainable development, adaptation to climate design as an integral part of sustainable development theory, gradually attention. Adaptation to climate designed this proposition was wide ranging, depending on climatic phenomena (sun, temperature, wind, humidity, air pressure, rainfall, snow, etc.), corresponding to a shading / lighting, heat / heat, wind/ ventilation, dehumidification / moisturizing, drainage / water storage and other architectural requirements, so as to achieve the production of space suitable for human living conditions. Based on summer and cold winter climate characteristics, energy consumption structure, this paper only involves two aspects to this proposition. In summer heat, ventilation as the starting point, by exploring the relationship between architecture and climate, existing buildings to climate theory, the design goal is to create a comfortable and healthy indoor environment.Thesis is divided into five parts. The first part "Introduction", focuses on the research background, research object, purpose and significance of domestic and foreign research review, the principles and methods of research papers and thesis framework. The second part "climate and architecture," focuses on the relationship between climate and human settlements issues, a brief introduction to the climate and construction-related factors and the methods that how to do, and a brief introduction to theory and practice of adaptation to climate and cold winter and hot summer in the energy consumption of public buildings in the summary, for public buildings of the summer and cold winter areas designed to the transition space made to adapt to climate provides a theoretical and factual basis of. The third part "Status Research", mainly through the study of the classification, type of summary for the status of research done adequate preparation, has greatly enhanced the relevance and effectiveness research; through first-hand investigation to obtain a large number of authentic, the survey data and statistical analysis of data to identify the problems and influencing factors to transitional space design of public buildings in hot summer and cold winter zone. Part IV "passive thermal design" is one of the conclusions of this paper, in this part of the article for the shape coefficient, respectively, the planar combined thermal design, the entrance of thermal design, thermal design of the atrium, balcony thermal design, shading design and the envelope thermal design of this seven part supported by the software simulation is the transition space design strategy for the summer heat. The last part of the paper "passive ventilation design" is also one of the conclusions of this paper, mainly for shape coefficient, open design, ventilation design of the entrance, atrium ventilation design, ventilation design and the balcony enclosure ventilation supplemented by the seven part software simulation to conclude ventilation design strategy for the transition space. The last two parts of this paper is the key, discussing the hope for the architect to provide a more detailed and specific reference.
