| With the breakthrough development of new material and new technology, long-span steel structure is used and developed in the worldwide. In China, as the economy grows, large-scale steel structures are finding increasing application in construction with tendencies of diversification and complexity. These tendencies require higher requirements as well as providing excellent opportunity to rapidly advance the technology of steel structure construction. As the traditional construction methods are too experience-dependent to meet the requirements of accuracy and quantification of steel structure construction, it is necessary to quantitatively describe and monitor the processes across the whole construction to ensure the formation of final structure satisfies the design requirements. Thus, analog simulation technology of steel structure construction has emerged. After the analysis and study on the theories of steel structure stability and analog simulation of construction, this paper provides analog simulation analysis on the construction processes of long-span awning of New Hankou Railway Station with finite element analysis software ANSYS. It quantitatively describes the stability of "non-finished" structure and its working condition to guide construction processes and determine the optimized construction plan for an effective exploration of the development of long-span steel structure construction technology. This paper mainly includes the following:â‘ It defines the types of stability of steel structure based on the analysis and study on the theories of steel structure stability, specifying the instability principle for each kinds of instability and indicating analysis methods, their features and application scope.â‘¡It presents the analog simulation theory of steel structure construction processes by demonstrating construction mechanics, construction analysis theory and monitoring data theory in construction process. It also points out the analog simulation function of ANSYS in construction processes.â‘¢According to the background of the New Hankou Railway Station project, it provides linear buckling analysis and nonlinear buckling analysis on the stability of "non-finished" structure of long-span awning structure construction to determine its instability mode, ultimate bearing capacity and impact of primary defect to structure system, and points out that the analysis results have the benefit for construction.â‘£It optimizes temporary support arrangement plan and roof installation plan for the construction processes of long-span awning of New Hankou Railway Station by finite element analysis software ANSYS and considering the real construction condition to determine a safety and economic construction plan. It then introduces analog simulation analysis on the construction processes of awning structure based on the optimize construction plan and the idea of element birth and death. It quantitatively describes the working condition, absorbs the deformation rules and takes effective construction actions according to analysis results to ensure that the finished project satisfy the design requirements. |
