Transmission conductor galloping big amplitude and long duration featurewould damage the normal operation of transmission conductor; it could causealternate flashover, conductor and gold utensil damages especial cause the towercollapse, thus caused huge economic loss and bad influence in society. Domesticand overseas scholars from the1930s to its studied and have made a large numberof achievements, including computer simulation monitoring technology, based onthe sensor monitoring technology and video image monitoring technology method. But they have their flaws, not in the actual application of application. A newmethod of transmission conductor galloping monitoring based on GPS is proposedin this paper, and focus on the attitude determination theory, we design andimplement the SPSA algorithm to resolve sample conductor attitude. In this paper, the main content and innovations as follows:(1) Study on new method of monitoring transmission conductor galloping. Weintroduced relevant knowledge of transmission conductor galloping detailed, andproposes the application of GPS technology to the monitoring of the transmissionconductor galloping which based on analyzed the method of monitoring gallopingof domestic and international.(2) Study on fast calculation method of attitude determination. Phase doubledifference integer ambiguity is difficult and focuses in traditional attitudemeasurement method, this paper proposed using SPSA algorithm direct to solveattitude angle and length of the sample conductor based on existing methods ofdomestic and international, the advantage of it is to avoid solving the integerambiguity and improving the real-time of algorithm greatly.(3) Studies the corresponding relationship between the sample conductor andtransmission conductor galloping amplitude, and a special metal outer cover ofGPS antenna for anti-interference. When transmission conductor galloping, itsamplitude will change with sample conductors attitude change, and will producehigh frequency radio interference signal interfere GPS antenna to receive satellitessignals, We proposed a special metal outer cover of GPS antenna to shield highfrequency signal interference while GPS antenna works normally.
