With China's rapid economic development, urbanization throughout the country has accelerated a lot, especially in coastal areas, Industry and population bring about the expansion of the city while the urban space gradually devours the surrounding countryside. In 2003, Shenzhen issued "To accelerate the urbanization of Bao'an and Longgang districts ", the urbanization of Bao'an and Longgang districts has been in full swing—population urbanization and region urbanization, By the end of 2005, the work of town transfer (agricultural land to constructional land) had been finished, making Shenzhen the only city without rural areas in China.Longgang District, transitional communities as the product of the urbanization process, though has been transformed from rural communities to urban communities in the respect of system, but in the respects of "population urbanization" and "production and lifestyle urbanization",it still took on a spatial pattern which is incompatible with the general structure of city.This article mainly uses related theories as the basis, takes Longgang District transitional communities as an example, compares Longgang District community with other communities, analyzes the domestic and international theory and practice concerned, along with a research on the current situation of the Longgang District community to summarize its space problems and characteristics. Then the article proceeds from a functional space, and explore a reasonable way which is suitable for the community.The study result has a practical significance to the transitional community, Longgang District, and it also provides the references for different regions, similar spatial organization of the community.
