Study On The Metropolis Connected-way Of Expressway And Urban Road

The connected-way acts as the transition of exchange in expressway and urban road traffic, which is an important channel of traffic of city in entrance and exit. The larger the city is, the greater proportion of immigration traffic flow. Thus, for metropolis, the study on the connected-way of expressway and urban road has a particular importance.This paper makes some researches on the connected-way from two aspects:layout planning and traffic channelization.Firstly, the paper analyses concept, characteristics, function, traffic flow characteristics and the environment of the connected-way. Based on the conclusion, the paper makes a deeply analysis on reasons of traffic problem in the connected-way system.Secondly, the paper makes a systematic analysis on pattern of expressway and peri-urban area layout. According to the basic principles and thoughts of the connected-way layout planning, applying the superiority index approach to the connected-way layout planning of metropolis.Then, the discuss on the metropolis connected-way of traffic composition and interface forms with the horizontal road, which elicits basic requirements of the connected-way traffic channelization. This paper makes some researches on the connected-way traffic channelization from two aspects:the traffic channelization in road segment and the traffic channelization of intersection.Finally, based on the analysis on the theoretical method,selected Huanghua of Hebei Province to verify the practicality of the superiority index. And made traffic channelization on the planning connected-way.
