The modified asphalt with favorable adhesion stress force, heat endurance and elastoplasticity is a new and excellent quality kind of asphalt which has wonderful perspective to apply and popularize in our country. There will be confronted with new difficulty and stress to develop as well as the mixing and transport devices are different from the conventional asphalt because of its own character and special performance.In this text, the thinking and program of the transmission agent, heating system, heat preservation system and so on is concluded and arranged after investigating the similar devices in domestic and foreign. Then a program that suit for our notional conditions is proposed.By means of analyzing the working condition and the main parameter component of the modified asphalt mixing plant, consulting the research method to design single lying axle cement concrete blender, we propose the research approach that can calculate the driving power of this kind of mixing principal axis.Confirm the mixing axle driving plan in the modified asphalt mixing plant, also calculating the parameter of principal component in transmission agent based on contrasting some common mechanical driving mode. Research the heating and heat preservation process and set up the mathematical model by which simulate the heating process and predict the temperature distribute condition of the experimental prototype through the basic theory of Heat Transfer Theory. Analyze the fuel combustion process based on the basic theory of Combustion Science, which provide basis to make the combustion system parameters matched reasonably. Analyze the gas fume emission process and predict the gas fume generated by combustion flowing condition based on the basic theory of Thermodynamics, Hydromechanics. Above all that provide an important foundation to research and improve the modified asphalt mixing and transport equipment.
