Research On The External Environment Outside The Station In The Small And Medium Sized Cold Cities

The thesis based on building environmental psychology theory, external space theory and regionalism theory, supported with foreign experience. It brought up a more comprehensive and systematic exposition for the design countermeasures of the cold environment of small and medium sized cities outside the railway station traffic, landscaping, culture, and service systems.The breakthrough point of thesis is the study of the cold environment of the Station in small sized cities, constitute the starting point of the composition and functions of various elements, through field trips and surveys for the Station to conduct environmental analysis of existing problems and the environment all the Station elements of a study.Thesis is constructed by five chapters. The first two chapters brought up the issues, explained the purpose of the study and significance of the subject, status and related concepts with the topic of the thesis in order to define the scope of the study. A brief overview is followed based on the train station development, classification, composition and function space and external environment elements on the cold train station outside the small city environment. Chapter three focused on analyzing the problem, based on the field trips research, through first-hand information in the order of the selected 14 stations cold outside environment in small and medium cities in the analysis of the elements. Summed up the current train station cold outside environment in small and medium cities in the characteristics and status of the problem and analyze causes. The last two chapters are problem-solving part of the problems mentioned previously, find the academic theory that can be used to solve the problems, bring up design principles and the design strategies according to the elements of the environment outside the station.In the destiny of focusing on urban image and space quality, Railway Station is the urban landscape which has a great impact on the functional architecture. For the visitors that first came to the city, the railway station has become to be a representative of the window of urban style logo. Tide of the city under the impetus of local urban construction in China showed a trend of rapid development, economic development has brought changes in the city. Numbers of the old railway stations have joined the process of development, many of whom are small and medium cities railway stations. State the pros and cons of the environment in urban train stations, not only on behalf of a city spirit, will also improve the urban environment, enrich people's cultural activities, create opportunities to bring together a variety of benefits. External environment studies of its construction can be a great significance of creating a good urban space environment; improving urban quality and bringing promotion of urban, social and cultural developments.
