Having developed thousands of years to now, the traditional Chinese graphic arts had a long history. Early before the lettering invented, our ancestors began to use graphics to express their ideas and emotion. In the process of modern graphic design, "form" is one of the most important elements in planar formation. So how to combine traditional graphic with modern visual custom, and how to breathe new cultural connotation into modern formation is a big task for designers to solve. In the mass traditional Chinese visual arts, traditional graphics is undoubtedly the focus of our research, for it has a close relationship with modern graphic design, and implies both traditional Chinese cultural practices and aesthetic psychology. A good understanding, inheritance, and promotion of Chinese traditional graphic style, visual mentality, and its inner spirit play an important roll in the enhancement of modern graphic design.The expressing form of traditional Chinese symbolic culture varies much, among them the traditional graphic is one of the main expressing forms. It's mode of transmission mainly lies in the artistry and implicated symbolic meaning of traditional graphc. Merging mental elements into corporate image design requires us not only maintain traditional characteristics and corporate personality, but also coincide with the aesthetic psychology of different countries and nationalities, and the technical requirements given by era spirit and new subject field, to make corporate image design more national and international.How to apply the traditional elements into modern corporate image design, how to express the unique ancient Chinese culture by international design language, enables Chinese enterprises combines elements of traditional culture when stepping into an international design level, both promotes the formation of national identity and systematic specific design style.Therefore, we should not simply borrow elements from others in Chinese traditional graphics applying, but should consider the corporation's own characteristics, catching up with the spirit of the times, to re-innovation on the basis of learning their expressing technic and modelling technology, to make corporate image design and brand design more national and international.
