With the acceleration of our country's urbanization process and the expansion of urban population scale and space size, urban traffic congestion, blocking, travel difficulties, traffic noise, Motor Vehicle pollution and a series of transportation problems have been appeared. Various countries'main methods to solve the worse urban traffic problems are developing the Metro of rapid rail transit system. At present, China's subway construction springs up, but the design of Metro Marking System are problematic and not achieve the appropriate height. Sound Metro Marking System should resolve conflicts among urban development, underground space and the demand of the pedestrians. This paper takes a great deal of research in the subway station as basis and combines the investigation and comparison of the Metro Marking System domestic and overseas, then analyses and investigates the relations among the subway station space, guide designing and identification system systematically and take the Beijing Metro Line 2 as an example to optimized. So both theoretical research and design practice are equally important. The purpose of the optimization is to establish and improve a unified continuous identification system, so the system can play a role in grooming the passenger flow effectively, improving Metro's capacity, solving urban traffic congestion and promoting the city image.First, the paper start from space-oriented research, then discuss the understanding concept, process, principles and metrics of the space-oriented. After an initial understanding of the space-oriented the paper discusses the design elements, factors and design principles of the space-oriented. Second, in the study of the identification system and according to the characteristics of identification systems, know the content of identification system systematically and combine with the existing literature contents to re-integrated and classified. It is contribute to a clear understanding of the role-oriented system identification. Third, through the investigation of Metro Line 2 and analyze the objective and reliable data, have a more clear understanding of the design of the orientation of the station, also understand the use of the existing station and building situation. They play a key role to optimize. Finally, in the optimizing designs of Metro Line 2, according to the characteristics of its traffic layout the line of 18 points divided into four categories and according to the characteristics to take a stand of each category to optimize the design. In their design to seize the important function of space, such as: station hall, platform, channel, transform space and other space node, through the traffic organization, congestion node, identification information and other aspects of regional planning concept and adopted a more detailed three-dimensional models and two dimensional graphics combination clearly expressed.
