Internal combustion engine including gasoline and diesel engines, the invention of internal combustion engine has brought the Second World industrial revolution from Germany began in the twentieth century. The development of turbocharger technology is another milestone in the development history of Internal combustion engine which promoted the development of Internal combustion engines. Domestic testing in turbocharger factory lacks of intelligent system which can meet the testing requirements of the factory. The analog pointer measuring instruments are mostly used in turbocharger test in domestic factory and test data is read and calculated in artificial means. The testing system is bulky, heavy, wide range test parameters, test points and operation is complicated. Several workers are required in this process of test and it is also time-consuming, inefficient and lower accuracy. In order to change this backward technology of test and improve the level of automation and intelligent in performance test of turbocharger, the development of turbocharger test system based on embedded is urgent needed.This completed the following work:①completed performance testing platform design of embedded turbocharger. These include: testing platform architecture design, Selection, installation and commissioning of thermocouple temperature sensor, differential pressure flow sensors, pressure sensors and speed sensors.②computer system design of embedded turbocharger Test System. these include: system design,hardware system design, ARM chip selection,application software design.③Established a cross-compiler environment. Including: installation and configuration of TFTP server, NFS server, Samba server and Linux-gcc cross-tool chain.④Completed the Linux operating system kernel cutting and transplantation, the establishment of the root file system, bootloarder compiling and transplantation, Makefile file writing.⑤Developed device drivers. These include: character device driver development, network device driver development, touch screen driver development, USB driver development.⑥The testing system interface program was developed. These include: development of the login interface, system settings interface, system test interface.Experimental test indicated that the system is stable and reliable, have high precision, easy operation. The system greatly improve the efficiency of testing with an extensive meaning and application prospects.
