Highways constructed before are almost need reconstruction now. Each year, there are numerous asphalt pavements need to be repaired or reconstructed. Repairing new pavements on the old one, will not only raise the road surface causing equipments can not be reused,but also,result in a waste of resources. In construct, by the adoption of cold in-place recycling technology, the materials of old pavement can be restored again. So cold in-place recycling technology is the need for sustainable development, and is a challenge for our researches and engineers.Based on research results from home and abroad, the FDR technology was used for semi-rigid pavement, the mechanism of FDR and the design method were summarized, and the performance of the FDR mix-materials were analyzed. Aimed at national road 108, the construction craft and quality control technology of FDR were analyzed at length. It is shown that FDR feasible, easy to use and can save a lot of money, The proposed method for construction quality control provides theoretical foundation and experience for FDR.
