Post Evaluation Of Old Bridge Reinforcement In Rural Highway Method Research

As China's rapid development of economy and transportation, the highway network scale increases year by year, and the rural highway has also been considerable development. But the bridges, play a key role in the highway transport system, have become a bottleneck inhibiting the development of local transportation. A great many of the bridges in rural highways were built during last century 60's and 70's. The low construction standards in that time, the poor construction quality and the lack of management and maintenance cause a large number of dangerous bridges in rural highway. They are out of service and bear increasingly the more heavy traffic. All these old bridge demolition and reconstruction requires a lot of construction funds. It is not economical, and it is unrealistic. On the contrary, old and dangerous bridges reinforcement can save a lot of construction funds, and extend the service life of bridges. How can we find an effective method for reinforcing the rural highway old bridge that is economical, safe and reliable? This is the direction of our current research. It needs a large number of engineering examples and practical experience as research base. The post evaluation of old bridge reinforcement in rural highway can provide a large number of first-hand information for this research. This thesis based on the specific example of a large number of literature references, in-depth analysis and the study concluded a set of simple, practical, and efficient post evaluation method for old bridge reinforcement in rural highway.Firstly, in this thesis, the author introduces bridge construction development in our country, improtance of old bridge reinforcement and feasibility that project post evaluation is used in rural highway old bridge reinforcement. He discusses the overview of development in project post evaluation and researches in depth of the project post evaluation of the basic content and traditional methods. Secondly, the author classifies the reinforcing methods of the old bridge in rural highway, establishes the research field of rural highway old bridge reinforcement post evaluation and sums up the technical condition of the bridge various components, provides the evidence of using contrast method in evaluate bridge technique condition. Thirdly, the author sums up a set of post evaluation method for the old bridge reinforcement in rural highway, according to the particularity and universality of rural highway old bridge reinforcment. The project is examined by static and dynamic loading test and hammer method. According to contrast technique condition of bridge every part before reinforcement and after reinforcement, the effect of reinforcement is evaluated. The project benefit was analysed by final accounts of old reinforcement projet and estimate accounts of rebuilding new bridge. At last, it is used the specific examples to examine the reliability and validity of this post evaluation method of old bridge reinforcement.
