Transportation is an important part of the national economy, which plays a link role in the entire society. Railways, waterways, highways, aviation and pipeline are five basic modes of transportation, and, rail and water transport are the main long-distance bulk transport. So how to switch quickly and easily between the railway and water transport is significant to the increase of transportation efficiency.In the abutting joint between railway and water transportation, one side is single track and another side is multi-track. For the track is fixed at one end and the other end is the ferry deck which is highly variable, common turnout is usually used to connect tracks. This technique needs a number of fixed-rail line, which makes bridge deck wider and heavier and makes lift bridge need higher power. And the fixed-track on connection bridge requires the location and size of tracks on the train ferry must be set according to the standard scale, which is inconvenient.Only by breaking the limitations of technology and the theory to achieve the great sea-rail intermodal development, and the ways to break through the limitations are the innovation of bridge to connect ship theory and technology, in this case, the Dalian Maritime University, Professor Xie Xinlian applyed for the project of"Rigid Flexible Bridge and orbit theory and its experimental verification", and obtained the support of National Natural Science Foundation.In this paper, a new type of flexible track proposed by xie xin lian professor is studied from several aspects as followed:(1)With Finite element numerical simulation technology to set up the finite element model of the flexible track The deformation mechanism and bearing mechanism are analyzed. Proved Orbital the feasibility after bending flexible docking technical on plane .(2)Proposing two types methods of calculating the force of flexible track ,After comparing between two types of bearing, more reasonable way of bearing is presented.(3)The length of flexible track, sleeper spacing, length of short rail, the connection form between rail and sleeper, section forms are analyzed and reasonable structure form of flexible track is presented.(4) The existing structures of ballasted track, ballastless track and a new type of flexible track are reviewed, and finite element theory of flexible track is introduced. With Yanda as project background, the new flexible track applies to Yanda ferry trestle bridge.(5)The performance parameters of flexible tracks in lateral bending state are also analyzed, which provides a basis for the next analysis of vertical vehicle load. And the safety of trains running in a low speed on the track with certain angle is simply analyzed. (6)Considering the role of vehicle load on the overall structure of the new flexible track , The new flexible track has been optimized and improved .
