During the early design phase, all theoretical research results of flexible tracks and flexible trestle bridge are showing out in form of text descriptions and engineering drawings, combined with the special design of certain components, it is difficult even for professionals to imagine it. So that we have encountered some difficulties during the promotion process of these two designs. In order to overcome the difficulties of the promotion process, this paper combines simulation technology with animation techniques to simulate the bending deformation of the flexible trestle and tracks during vehicle handling process intuitively in the form of simulation animation.Through comparative analysis of several popular three-dimensional modeling, the paper ultimately selects3ds max to establish the three-dimensional model of flexible trestle bridge, flexible track, train ferry and railway wagon, etc. Basing on the previous research about deformation parameter expression, we establishes the mathematical model of the movement of the flexible trestle bridge and flexible track when connection with tracks on the train ferry, and then solving these model with the help of VC++language. According to deformation parameters obtained from the motion model, we can set keys for the sleepers, girders and deck beams. Thus we can simulate the connecting process of flexible trestle bridge and flexible track with tracks on board. And combined with some functions of3ds max, such as path constraint, skeletal links and IK solver, the animation simulation of loading and unloading process is completed. This can give people an intuitive understanding of the transshipment between railway transport and waterway transport of new rail-sea intermodal transportation system. Finally, this paper conducts cost-effectiveness analysis of the new container sea-rail transport system and the traditional container sea-rail transport system.
