According to the national standards of the turning pump, this paper studies on the test techniques of the comprehensive performance test system, and then designs the structure of the system. The test system developed can automatically achieve prototype test and delivery test.This test system consists of the hydraulic system and electrical control system. Firstly, the principle design of hydraulic system for turning pump test system is carried out using electro-hydraulic proportional control technique. The hydraulic system can control the pressure and flow automatically. Secondly, the electrical control system is based on the single-chip computer, which is programmed, and an electrical schematic diagram is drawn.This paper focus on the research of electrco-hydraulic proportional technology. Mathematic models of electro-hydraulic proportional valves are built. According to the practical application in the enterprise, the results show that the test method and control strategy of the test system are feasible.Lastly, prototype test and delivery test are tested on the system to a certain turning pump. Experiment data of four tests indicate that the test system has many characteristics such as high accuracy, high automation degree and high credibility. The development of the test system, not only provides reliable platform for turning pump test and research, also lays technical foundation for the system of similar structure, and forms a set of rather integrated design methods.
