The design and experimental research of a gripper TBM shield machine is researched supported by ‘The National Basic Research Program' and ‘The National High Technology Research and Development Program of China' with the demand of shield machine in tunnel construction at present.The overall scheme of TBM test bed,hydraulic system design,electrical control system design,system debugging and experiment are researched in this paper,based on the working principle and process of TBM test bed.This paper provides theoretical and experimental research for the innovative design of TBM.The main research contents and achievements are as follows:Firstly,following the function analysis of the whole machine,the TBM test-bed is divided into four subsystems: mechanical system,hydraulic system,electrical system and control system,based on the idea of sub structure division.The scheme of propulsion hydraulic system,supporting/horizontal adjusting system and supporting/vertical adjusting system is proposed based on the TBM working process of supporting,tunnelling,changing step and adjusting direction.Meanwhile,the software and hardware structures of the electronic control system are analyzed.Secondly,the promoting,supporting,changing and adjustment of the electric hydraulic control system is analyzed and calculated,according to the general scheme of electric hydraulic control system,and the main hydraulic components selection is introduced.The "touch screen +PLC" electrical monitoring system is constructed,and the selection of key electrical components is completed.The software structure and configuration interface of the monitoring system are monitored based on functional analysis and modular programming,which can be used to monitor the pressure,flow rate,displacement and speed of each cylinder timely.Finally,the experimental platform combined mechanical,hydraulic,electrical and monitoring software is built,and the problems encountered in the debugging process are analyzed,and solutions are put forward.Subsequently,the experiment are implement in the conditions of zero-load,constant load,unbalanced load and snap load.The average driving velocity,the pressure and displacement of left and right cylinder,and the pressure of left and right supporting cylinder are researched.The experimental results provide guidance and reference for the design and control of TBM.
