Enlarged base Twin一tower Structures With an Enlarged Base and conversion layer is a structure system of tall buildings, which is formed by an Enlarged base and two towers standing alone , between the podium and standards is the conversion layer. Since the existence of the podium and conversion layer ,the force structure became more complex. Study to the nonlinearity of the basic component of concrete is more at present, relatively deepen too, study to the nonlinearity of the whole structure is less, and the study on this complicated structure is more rare.This subject utilizes PKPM software to carry on computational analysis for Enlarged base Twin一tower Structures With an Enlarged Base and conversion layer on the basis of analysis of theory.There were the following contents:(a) By analysing the structure, first, we have analysed and contrasted to the structure of different earthquake waves, different sites and different earthquake protection intensities, and to the choice of the wave, the influence of sites and earthquake protection intensities, puts forward some views, for designer's reference. Second, we use the EPSA static elasto-plastic analysis software (Push-over),carries on collapse resistant checking under frequently occurred and seldomly occurred earthquake of 7,8,9 degree,and achieves the curve of force-deformation, and judges strength performance and ductility quality of the whole structure.(b) The analysis of the structure which whose conversion layer is changed shows that the position of conversion layer is higher, although had little effect on the Period of structure, the seismic response of the mutation is more obvious.Therefore, when we have to use high conversion, the control of the shear stiffness ratio is necessary, the upper deformation characteristics and stiffness must close to the layers which below the conversion layer. So that the change in the vicinity of the angle of displacement mutation can be avoided. At the same time frame-layer should be strengthened following the lateral rigidity to avoid a weak layer appear in the frame-layer.(c) By changing the stiffness of Enlarged base we find: the self-oscillation Period of twin一tower structure change short as the increase of the enlarged base stiffness. Both architectural maximal storey displacement and maximal tier displacement angle of the structure decrease as the increase of the enlarged base stiffness,but it has much affecting on the displacement of the structure blew conversion layer. The displacement of conversion layer transition structure appears on curve. the earthquake effect is made change Obvious abrupt change on the conversion layer is made by the earthquake. As the creasing of enlarged base stiffness the earthquake effect will get to weak, abrupt change will get to small. We find the structure under force reasonable while 1.0≤β≤.2.3.Final, We carryed out a summary of this paper, and pointed out the problem needing studying further in the future.
