In recent years, building structure is not only aiming at the development of height, but also the diversity and comprehensive of the buildings’ function. For the requirements of the buildings’ appearance and function and so on, a variety of complex structure occur. For instance, in the modern high-rise building structure, some common kinds of special structure arrangement such as high-rise building structure with transition layer, high-rise building structure with strengthening layer, staggered floor structure and large cantilever structure, which are applied to the modern high- rise building more and more widely. The existing specifications have made some rules and guidance for the complex structures, however, the stress state and the form are diverse, the depth of the research is not enough. Thus the relevant provisions and specifications are not so comprehensive to achieve the corresponding depth. In the practical engineering examples, in order to research deeply, it still needs the designers to combine with the existing specifications.More and more high- rise buildings have small standard width of a room such as residence or hotel above, the lower layers are large shopping recreational areas such as stores and shops. For this, we often adopt large column grid in the below part and shear wall structure form in the up-part, which is also called frame supported shear wa ll. But this would lead to the discontinuity of the vertical force and the mutation of stiffness, so it needs a reliable conversion form to realize the internal transfer from the up-structure to the big column grid below.This article combines with the 7# building’s preliminary scheme of Hefei Evergrande, the central plaza, conducting a research on the overall seismic performance of high-rise building with high conversion layer, and the influence of the transfer beam stiffness on the seismic force. According to the existing technology, regard the transfer layer as a three dimensional space components, and integrate it to the entire structure and analysis the whole stress, and put forward some corresponding design measures,and then provide some theory and basis for the structure’s design and construction. The methods this article adopt is mainly as the followings: the modal response spectrum method, the elastic time history analysis and pushover analysis. Using two softwares such as PKPM and MIDAS BUILDIN G, to calculate, check the rationality and secur ity of the original structure arrangement. Compare the differences of the different models by CQC, and summarize some aseismatic measures about conversion structure. Also on the elastic time history analysis under the frequently earthquake and the static e lastic analysis of the structure under the rarely met earthquake. Due to the floor that exists local open hole gap of this project, and the conversion layer force is complex, so analyze the stress of the conversion layer and nearby through PMSAP.Totally, this article provides more practical advice for the conversion layer design through a series of researches and analysis.
