Along with the continued growth of Chinese economy and the people's living standards greatly improved, China has been gradually stepping into the well-off society. Meanwhile, the concept of dining consumption has also shown a diversified situation, the higher demand for catering environment, not only possesses a reasonable function to meet the people's demand, but also possesses a graceful environment to meet people's spiritual and psychological demands for the modern catering space design.The flow line of catering space as the result of analyzing function and organizing space, the rationality of the flow line design will directly affect the comfort and satisfaction from customers, it is an important aspect for improving the operational efficiency of restaurant and ensuring the profitability of restaurant.This paper takes the flow line design of catering space as the main object of study, on the foundation of data collected and analyzed, by the method of theory and case analyzed, carried on the systemic analysis and summary to the flow line of catering space, and aimed at the existing related problems of the flow line of catering space, generalized the design principles and specific practice methods, and is verified by practical examples, its essence is to find a reasonable, fast and smooth flow line to improve the operational efficiency, achieve an effective profitability.This paper is divided into six chapters, the first chapter namely the prolegomenon has a introduction for thesis research background, the goal, the significance and the content, the method, points out the whole framework of the paper; The second chapter describes important concept and the related research,gives a systemic analysis and expatiation for the concept and the classification of the modern catering space and the flow line, aiming at the modern catering space design status and flow line design status, analyzes related problems; The third chapter is the focus of the paper, takes an in-depth analysis and research on the regional planning and space combination, that will determine to the flow line design of catering space, points out the requirements of the function, scale and layout, that should be pay attention to the flow line design of catering space, and explores the common space combination forms to ensure the rationality of the flow line design; The fourth chapter is also the focus, expatiates the system of the flow line of catering space, combines with the behavioral psychology and the interior logo, points out the effect and the assistant function to the flow line design of catering space; The fifth chapter based on the above research results, summarized and concluded the principles and the methods of the flow line design of catering space, that should be complied and employed; The sixth chapter combined with the specific practical examples, embodied the flow line design of catering space in the actual project application.Finally, by the subject of study, expect for providing theoretical basis to the flow line design of catering space, improving the knowledge system of the flow line design of catering space.
