A Tentative Study On Interior Mood Design Of The Catering Space Light

With the prosperity of China’s economy and the development of our society,citizens in China put forward higher requirements in their mental and spiritual aspects.Nowadays,China’s second-tier and third-tier cities also appear some world-famous hotels,restaurants,plazas,etc,which could only be seen in the first-tier cities before.As we can see,more and more people would like to choose restaurants rather than to cook at home,because of the humdrum work life,the changing attitude towards enjoyment in sense of taste,and meaning of festivals,otherwise,food industry in China has become the rock stars of today.In modern China,people’s requirements not only include the dishes’ taste or waiters’ service,which we could call it "soft power" of a restaurant,but also contain a restaurant design,such as the light design,the color design,the layout,etc,which we could call them "hard power".The paper chooses one of the "hard power" of a restaurant,namely,the light design as its object of study,which will be developed further in the following context.The first chapter of the paper describes the situation of interior mood design of the catering space light,what’s more,in this part,we could also see the special meaning of interior mood design to our age.The second chapter elaborates some concepts,including the conception of light,and the concept of light environment.This part provides the theoretical basis to the paper,and lets all readers know the theoretical meaning of the study.The third chapter talks about the shaping force and the expressive force of the light in a catering space.Through this part,we could find the importance of interior light design towards restaurants.In the fourth chapter,the author introduces us the light environment in detail,and imports another concept--the light and shadow art.Furthermore,this part also shows us the relationship between light and color,and the classification of the catering space,under the definition of light and shadow art.The fifth chapter lets us know an important message that how is the art of light and shadow affecting the interior light environment in the catering space.In the last chapter,we could make a brief conclusion of the future about interior mood design of the catering space light.With the development of electrooptical technology,the light design uses in many occasions,where we can not imagine before.The catering space,as a special occasion,is a room that each citizen needs to go there.An old saying goes "food is basic to life.",so providing a comfortable catering space is necessary in our society.Only in this way,can we bring visual and taste enjoyment to the diners.
