Full Face Rock Tunnel Boring Machine was born in the middle of 20 century. Because of its superiority in the rock formation construction, it has been one of main construction facilities in tunneling industry. In overseas, it was deeply studied by lots of experts of engineering field and academe, and some achievements were acquired. In China, its studies are still primary stage. The fatigue studies of TBM are not included in the book "TBM construction and engineering examples". Furthermore, fatigue strength of the whole TBM must be determined through special strength tests, but actual working condition is difficult to be simulated by the strength test in laboratory, with the result that fatigue life analysis of each component of TBM is greatly limited. So, it is very important theoretical significance to study load spectrum of disc cutter of TBM.To cope with above problems, main work in the dissertation is briefly summarized as follows:(1) Rock breaking mechanism of disc cutter of Face Rock Tunnel Boring Machine was analyzed, and force analysis method of disc cutter was studied, thereout, the probability model of its loading spectrum complication was derived.(2) On the basis of Monte Carlo simulation method, complication thought of load spectrum was put forward, whose feasibility was analyzed.(3) Monte Carlo simulation method was applied to realize calculation of loading spectrum of disc cutter by VC++.(4) Load values by Monte Carlo were handled; variable mean method was applied to accomplish loading spectrum complication of disc cutter.
