Fatigue load spectrum is the prerequisite and basis for fatigue calculation and reliability of fatigue. There are many researches of fatigue loading spectrum both at home and abroad, but mostly concentrated on the areas of aviation machinery and bridge. The studies on fatigue load spectrum of disc cutter of TBM are few.Because disc cutter is TBM's main breaking rock tool, easy to wear and always need to be replaced. It is necessary to study disc cutter's fatigue life, to reduce the disc cutter replacement period and prolong its fatigue life. In order to study the fatigue life of TBM's each component and machine, it is very important theoretical significance to work out a wide use value load spectrum of disc cutter of TBM. Considering disc cutter's actual situation, disc cutter's work load spectrum is difficult to measure in tunnelling process. So, this task is to write load spectrum of disc cutter of TBM.The main contents in this paper include:(1) Based on the work principle of TBM and characteristics of disc cutter, rock breaking mechanism of disc cutter of Face Rock Tunnel Boring Machine was analyzed, and force analysis method of disc cutter was studied. It established a mechanical prediction model when disc cutter completed a rock breaking.(2) Due to single rock, two mixed rock, three mixed rock conditions, working status and disc cutter loading condition is different.Load calculation method for cutter disc of hob's arbitrary position is analyzed, and disc cutter's load value procedure realization is finished.(3) Taking guangzhou subway 4 line of hard rock section as typical examples, the specific conditions of disc cutter detail analysis. In single rock and mixed rock conditions respectively, one point of disc cutter on the certain position of cutter stresses analysis, computer simulation method was applied to realize calculation of loading spectrum of disc cutter by VB in single rock and mixed rock.(4) The load-time course of each working condition is respectively compressed. Through peak counting method is operating statistics counting, then cumulative frequency curve of each working condition is to be drawed, which is synthesized and expanded.Eventually, disc cutter 8 load spectrum can be obtained, which is applied to load simulation experiment.This task is one part of life prediction of TBM's disc cutter, and the results and methods of this task can be put into indoor simulation experiment very well.
