This thesis focuses on the research and development of the military aircraft maintenance and fault diagnosis system. The main purpose to collect, sum up and promote valuable experience of experts, to raise the level of fault diagnosis, and to play the role of maintenance experts to some degree.The development of Web technology and database technology, has not only brought new space for the Expert System to achievement and application, but also supplied a reliable technical support for distance diagnosis system. The implement of distance diagnosis Expert System has overcome the shortcomings of lack of flexibility and low efficiency of the traditional structure of the experts on the stand-alone systems in large measure, thereby improving the system's ability to solve the problem. At the same time, it makes knowledge base in the form of database, and makes full use of powerful data management capabilities of the database system, to improve efficiency in the use of data for Expert System in the reasoning process. For acquisition to knowledge of the Expert System, the thesis adopts the fault tree analysis technology to obtain the necessary knowledge of Expert System. The process of establishment of the FTA study is the process to analyze a systemic failure mode in detail, and in the same time to acquire the knowledge base for Expert System.The main works in this thesis are:(1) By the use of Expert System technology, computer graphics technology, network technology and multi-service network database technology, we can preferably solve the problem of establishment of the graphics of expert knowledge, the three-tier structure distributed network service, which provides guidance to remote diagnosis of failure, accumulation of learning historical experience, and other issues.(2) By using of the Delphi and SQL Server database, we design and develop an expert guidance system of a certain type of military aircraft fault diagnosis and maintenance. The strong information management capacity of SQL Server database is used to enhance system capacity of storage, management and utilization to the knowledge. By dint of integrative exploitation ability of Delphi, realizes rapid development.(3) A certain type of aircraft maintenance fault tree model, is proposed which together with the software platform, makes failure diagnose quick and accurate. The system can be embedded by IETM technology, and research results of other areas, to achieve real-time query for relevant information, to accept the maintenance guide, which has strong integrated and expansibility.
