The trial was designed to investigate the levels of immune and biochemical indexes in serum,performance and meat quality characteristics of the Shi-Zi goose which were under grassland-stocking. The Shi-Zi goose were stocked in grassland at 2 weeks of age at the beginning of June, when they were at 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks of age, 5 and 10 geese were selected randomly for the detect of the levels of indexes in serum and performance; when they were at 12 weeks of age, 10 geese were selected randomly for the detect of slaughter performance and meat quality characteristics. The significant difference between the data of trial and housing group which had obtained early was analyzed by independent-sample T test of SPSS 17.0. The results are as follow:(1) The immune indexes in serum: The levels of Ig G, Ig M, C3, C4, IL-4, IL-6, IFN-α and IFN-γ in serum from trail geese were higher than those from housing geese, and they were significant(P<0.05) or extremely significant(P<0.01) higher than those from housing geese at different weeks of age; the levels of IL-2 was extremely significant lower than that of housing geese at 4 weeks of age(P<0.01), and it was significant lower than that of housing geese at 8weeks of age(P<0.05); the levels of IL-12 was significant lower than that of housing geese at 4weeks of age(P<0.05), and it was significant higher than that of housing geese at 12 weeks of age(P<0.05).(2) The biochemical indexes in serum: The levels of TP and Alb in serum from trail geese were higher than those from housing geese, and there was extremely significant difference between them at 8 weeks of age(P<0.01), significant difference between them at 12 weeks of age(P<0.05); the levels of TG was lower than that from housing geese at every weeks of age, and there was significant difference between them(P<0.05).(3) Performance: The BW and ADG of trail geese were higher than those of housing geese at4, 8 and 12 weeks of age, but there was no significant difference between them(P>0.05); the ADSFI was lower than the ADFI of housing geese, and there was significant difference between them at 2 weeks of age(P<0.05), extremely significant difference between them at 4, 8 and 12 weeks of age(P<0.01); the F/G was lower than that of housing geese, and there was significant difference between them at 4 weeks of age(P<0.05); extremely significant difference betweenthem at 8 and 12 weeks of age(P<0.01); the dressed percentage, percentage of half-eviscerated,percentage of all-eviscerated, percentage of breast muscle and percentage of leg muscle were higher than those of housing geese, but there was no significant difference between them(P>0.05), the percentage of abdominal fat was significant higher than that of housing geese(P<0.05).(4) Meat quality characteristics: The organoleptic characteristics of meat from trail geese were in good condition; the drip loss and sheer stress of muscles were extremely significant lower than those of housing geese(P<0.01), the cooking percentage of chest muscles was extremely significant higher than that of housing geese(P<0.01); the dry in leg muscles was significant higher than that of housing geese(P<0.05), the crude ash in chest muscles was extremely significant higher than that of housing geese(P<0.01), the crude protein in leg muscles was significant higher than that of housing geese(P<0.05),and the crude fat in muscles was higher than that of housing geese, but there was no significant difference between them(P>0.05); The levels of TVBN and residual contaminants in muscles were both complied with the standard of green poultry.In conclusion: Grassland-stocking pattern can improve the levels of the part of immune and biochemical indexes in serum from the Shi-Zi goose, and it can improve the immunity of goose,the stocking geese have good performance, the meat quality is well, grassland-stocking is a low cost feeding pattern which deserved to promote.
