Aiming at the problems existed in the traditional experimental study and analytic methods in theory while the study was underway by the high density baler directly in laboratory, computer analysis and simulation on compressing hay in high density baler are accomplished according to the technology idea in modem design theory. The virtual prototype technology is introduced in the research. ADAMS is used as an instrument to analyze the process of compressing hay in high density baler. A ADAMS model of the compressing hay in high density baler is established, and the modeling method and model structure are validated by ADAMS. The relation of the change that the stiffness coefficient of simulation spring makes in process of the high density compressing is obtained by analysis, then the optimization analysis is achieved pointing to the compressing hay in high density baler. A simulation model of the compressing hay in high density baler is established. VC++6.0 and 3D Modeling technology are used as an instrument to simulate the actual compressing hay in high density baler. The results of simulation prove that the simulation model is correct, and the simulation model can show the correlative data and its rule of variety.
