The conclusion was gained by two animal experiments .Experiment one: Six hundreds one-day healthy Arce Abor broilers ,mixed with male and female.were randomly assigned into five groups. Each group had three duplicates. Thirty birds in one duplicate. The broilers were raised in floor and were fed liberty with feed and water. All the diets were in the form of mash. The whole test lasted 50 days. The results showed that the test group was improved than the contrast group in average daily gain weight, average daily feed and feed conversion of broilers. But there was no any significant difference(p>0.05) in carcass qualities between the test groups and the contrast .But the Chinese herbs group one was better efficiency than others in numerical value.Experiment two: four-hundred fifty thirty_fifth day healthy Arce Abor broilers that mixed with male and female were randomly assigned into three groups which included the contrast(basal diet+antibiotics ),test one(basal diet+chinese herbs 1) and test two(basal diet + Chinese herbs 1+synbictics). Each group had three duplicates with fifty birds. The test lasted two weeks. The results showed that average daily gain weight of the test group increased 9.42% and 15.21%, daily feed increased 8.63% and 12.47% than the contrast ,but no signficant difference (P>0.05); feed conversion increased 0.90% and 1.80% than the contrast ,but no significant difference (P>0.05). However, there was no any significant difference (P>0.05) in carcass qualities between the test group and the contrast except abdominal fat content which decreased by 10.44%, 16.11% than the contrast . There was significant difference (p<0.05).In conclusion, Chinese herbs could subsitute antibiotics as additives in broiler production. The synergism maybe found in Chinese herbs and synbictics. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | broiler, Chinese herbs, synbictics, growth performance, carcass quality | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
