Spring vegetable soybean cultivating techniques for high yield and ecotypes which fits the natural ecological condition and farming system in this region have been put forward by investigating soybean variety, sowing date, plant density, fertilizer applying method in this paper. Results showed that it is important to select certain spring vegetable variety with fitting market requirement and environment condition in order to develop vegetable soybean production. Different varieties could be considered according to various nature resources and purpose, the varieties with short growth period and cold tolerance, e.g. 9701 could be chosen for promoting cultivation, high yield and better quality variety Taiwan75 can be used for processing and export purpose, Xiaoken 8901 can be used as batch sowing, and variety AJMD could be applied to little poor soil due to its wide adaptability. In order to obtain large amount of fresh pods, sowing date on the middle of March or the early of April are optimum, while protective cultivation and much early sowing could be chosen for more profits. Plant density is 30,000 per hectare depends on the variety features, fertilizer potential and cultivation methods. The plant density for large biomass plants like Taiwan 75 should be adjusted to 27,000 per hectare, whereas, it have to be increased for dwarf plants or growing in the poor soil. It was found that much high yield would be obtained by applying fertilizer combined with nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. It is recommendation that pure nitrogen 150 kg, P2O5 75 kg and K2O 75 kg per hectare based on variety, climate, soil and growth characteristics.The suitable spring vegetable soybean varieties for Zhejiang province planting should be have proper growth period, less than 80 days for early growing variety, 80 to 85 days for medium and 85 to 95 days for late ripening variety respectively. It is required that the variety has indeterminate growth habit with strong stem, few branches and muster pods, fertilizer tolerance and lodging resistance, suitable to high plant density thus leading high yield and high harvest index. Pod length should be more than 4.9cm with width 1.3cm. It is demand at least 200 grams for one hundred fresh pods weight with two or three seeds, green color and white hairs. One hundred dried seeds weight should be more than 30 grams and has the ideal characteristic of appearance, edibility, nutritional and sanitation quality. The edibility quality of vegetable soybean consists of sweetness, soft texture and flavor taste.
