In order to test the effect of Chinese herb medicine additive and select out the practical Prescriptions of additive of Chinese herb medicine, through a simple feed test 3 relatively good Prescriptions named Prescription I , II and III are chosen from 10 Prescriptions which are designed by myself to conduct an experiment: 120 three-way crossbred growing pigs [DX(LXY)] , average initial body weight of 20.19+ 0.68kg, are randomly divided into 4 groups: three groups are trial groups, fed with Prescription I , II and III; the fourth group is the control group, fed with the preparation SB34 produced by Hunan Zhongda Feed Co.Ltd. The data of body weights and the consumption of feed are collected when the test ends; the data of morbidity, curative condition and cost of medicine are recorded; the data of total gain, average daily gain, average feed efficiency are calculated. Single analysis of variance (ANOVA) and least significant difference (LSD) are used to analyze the statistical data. Common microbiological test is used to count the coliform bacteria and salmonella in the dung of the trial groups and the control group. It appears: (Dthe average daily gain of the trial groups and the control group are 0.36 + 0.038, 0.33 + 0.039, 0.32 + 0.035 and 0.31+0.043kg/d, there is highly significant difference between the trial groups and the control group (p<0.01), the trial groups are significantly superior to the control group. There are high significant differencesbetween trial group I , II and the control group (p<0.01). And there is significant difference between trial group III and the control group (0.01
