In order to study the effect of Chinese Herb Medicine Compound Additive on the production performance of laying hen, to explore the effective prescription,accorded to the theory of Chinese traditional medicine ,constituted prescription A (hawkthorn,barrenwort,etc) and B(hawkthorn,barrenwort,dangshen,huangqi,shudi,angeliza,etc). The principles of the prescription(A) was in order to invigorating the stomach, relieving dypepsia and warming kidney and activating yang, The principles of the prescription (B) was in order to invigorating the stomach and relieving dyspepsia, warming kidney and activating yang, invigorating the spleen to benefit the lung, tonic therap and activating blood circulation .The experiment selected 315 hens of 105 days old, divdided it into seven groups seldom: 0 group were control group, 1~3 group were 0.5%,1.0%,1.5% prescription A additive group respectively, 4~6 group were 0.5%,1.0%,1.5% prescription B additive group respectively. Each group was fed 9 weeks, observed the change of the hen's gain weight, the rate of laying, ovi-weight,the wastage of feedingstuff,the rate of hatch, discussed the hen's performance and growth in the period. The result of the test showed:1.The change of the laying rate: when the additive dosage was1.0% and 1.5% in 19 weeks old ,the prescription A rose 7.0%,17.0% than the control group. the prescription B rose 20.0%,22.0% than the control group. when the additive dosage was 1.0% and 1.5% in 19~24 weeks old, the prescription A rose 9.5%,15.7% than the control group. the prescription B rose 18.7%,19.5% than the control group. The effect was very remarkable(P<0.01).when the additive dosage was 0.5%, the effect of two prescriptions was not remarkable than the control group.2.The change of the hen's gain weight in 105~168 days old: when the additive dosage was 1.0% and 1.5%, the prescription A rose 8.35%,10.33% than the control group. the prescription B rose 10.73%,12.25% than the control group. The effect was remarkable(P<0.05), when the additive dosage was 0.5%, the effect of two prescriptions was not remarkable than the control group.3.The change of the average ovi-weight after laying:the whole dosage of the prescription A could not advanced remarkable(P>0.05), but the prescription B advanced remarkable(P<0.05).4.The change of the wastage of feedingstuff : when the additive dosage was 1.0% and 1.5%,the prescription A rose 4.9%,6.5% than the control group(P<0.05),the prescription B rose 3.2%,1.3% than the control group(P<0.05), when the additive dosage was 0.5%, the effect of two prescriptions was not remarkable than the control group.5. The change of the hatch rate: When the dosage of the prescription A was 0.5% , it could not influenced remarkable , but the other dosage of the prescription A and all the dosage of prescription B influenced remarkable , the amount was 1.0%~2.7% .6. The comparative result of the prescription A and B was this : The 1.0% and 1.5% dosage of the prescription B were higher than all dosage of the prescription A on the the rate of laying, the rate of hatch, ovi-weight, gain weight of hen.but the the wastage of feedingstuff descended(P<0.05).7. The comparative result of the prescription B 1.0% dosage and 1.5% was this :The effect was not remarkable each other on the rate of laying, the rate of hatch, ovi-weight, gain weight of hen, but the the wastage of feedingstuff 1.0% dosage descended 1.9% than 1.5% dosage (P<0.05).By integrated analysis proved this: both of the prescription improved the production performance of laying hen in extent. The prescription B was effective more, its legislation's principle was :invigorating the stomach and relieving dyspepsia, warming kidney and activating yang, invigorating the spleen to benefit the lung, tonic therap and activating blood circulation.The effective dosage was 1.0%。...
