| The genetic variation (polymorphic information content (PIC), heterozygosity, effectivenumber of alleles and gene frequency) of 6 microsatellite loci (BM4505, BM1905, BM1443, BM415, BM143 and BM711) was analyzed in 200 Beijing Holsteins cow populations. The results showed that PIC, heterozygosity and effective number of alleles of 6 microsatellite loci range from 0.5339 to 0.8274, from 0.5624 to 0.8457, from 2.2851 to 6.4793, respectively. All the 6 microsatellite loci were highly polymorphic (PIC>0.5).Effects of six microsatellites on milk production traits were analyzed. The results showed that: microsatellite locus BM4505 had significant effects on milk fat percentage and dry matter percentage (p<0.05); microsatellite locus BM1905 had significant effects on milk protein percentage and lactose percentage (p<0.05); microsatellite locus BM1443 had significant effects on milk protein percentage (p<0.05); microsatellite locus BM415 had significant effects on milk fat percentage, protein percentage, lactose percentage and dry matter percentage (p<0.05); microsatellite locus BM143 had significant effects on milk protein percentage and lactose percentage(p<0.05); microsatellile locus BM711 had significant effects on milk fat percentage(p<0.05).In this study, favourable genes of loci that significantly influenced milk composition were found. 225bp at BM4505, 168bp. 170bp at BM415, 190bp at BM711 were the favourable genes for milk fat percentage. 201bpat BM1905, 163bp at BM1443, 168bp at BM415, HObpat BM143 were the favourable genes for milk protein percentage. 201bp at BM1905, 168bp. 170bp at BM415, 108bp at BM143 were the favourable genes for milk lactose percentage. 225bp. 239bp at BM4505, 168bp at BM415 were the favourable genes for dry matter percentage. |
