The study is composed of 5: germinating technology expriment of Aralia elata dry seeds, opitum density of Aralia elata seedlings, pruning technology of Aralia elata, study on Aralia elata and Pinus koraiensis mixed forest management mode and vegetative reproduction and seansoning culture technology. The fourth experiment sample was designd at Jilin province Longjing Forestry Bureau Zhixin forestry centre 98 forestry 3subcompartment, while the orthers were expremented in Agricultural College of Yanbian University. The germination ratio of Aralia elata seeds dry-stored under ordinary condition can be over 50% when they were treated with different pregermination and soaking methods. The experiment was designd by single factor contrast method for 4 seedbed densities. The mean height, root-collar diameter, above-ground dry weight, and under-ground dry weight of current year seedlings were investigated in fall. The results shown that maximum seedling growth and number obtained when the seedbed density was 83 seedlings/m2 (spacing was 15cm between row and 8cm between plants). The best seeding quantity is 0.65 g/m2 when the 1000-seed weight, pure rate and germination rate of the Aralia elata seeds was 1.2 g, 95% and 70% respectively. The pruning experiment results shown that the first pruning time should be in the secondary year after planting. The best season for pruning was spring after the secondary lateral bud was harvested. The cut poaition should be 10 cm from the harvested bud and the main stem should be higher than 1.3 m.Planting Aralia elata in plantations of Pinus koraiensis can not only improve the soil conditions, but also can increase stand stablity, improve stand structure and obtaine higher ecological and economic benefits.
