Cultivation techniques, including application of Ca, technology of seedlessness and protected cultivation of rain shelter, promoting grape qualities in the region of high temperature and raininess were studied. The results were as follows: 1 During young fruit periods, the effect of fertilizing calcium on berry qualities and resistance to Sphaceloma ampelinum de Bary was studied. The method of application of Ca included leaves spraying, soil-fertilizing, and the colligate of leaf-spraying and soil-fertilizing. The results showed all the treatments increase the calcium content of berries more or less. Thereinto, the increasing content of calcium in berries was the most at the treatment of spraying 1.25% Ca(NO3)2 and 1.00%CaCl2. The increase of calcium content in fruit could markedly promote grape's resistance to Sphaceloma ampelinum de Bary. The calcium content of fruit was negative correlation with the incidence of a disease. Therefore, the increase of calcium content of berries could promote the grape's resistance to Sphaceloma ampelinum de Bary.2 During the period of flowering, effect of GA3 on making berry seedless at different climate was researched. All the treatments could increase the ratio of seedless fruits, predated the mature, but decreased the number of berry and the average fruit weight, and added the number of green fruits. The climate, for example air temperature, illumination and air humidity, influenced the effect of making berries seedless after spraying GA3 during the period of flowering. During the period of flowering, the treatment effect of 25-37.5mg/L of GA3 was preferable in the normal climate, while the effect of 37.5-50mg/L of GA3 was better in the climate of low air temperature, low illumination and raininess.3 At the base of studying the climate and economy in Anhui province, the author designed improving grape protected cultivation of rain shelter and bringed forward a scheme of cultivation technique producing high quality and great benefit. These techniques included the selection of varieties, the controlling of air temperature, illumination and air humidity in sheds, the manage of flower and fruit, the prevention and cure of disease and insects, the pruning, and the fertilizing and irrigating.
