In this paper, the work is to design a kind of small-scale sugarcane harvester which is fit the southwest of china and base on the grow and develop status of the sugarcane, and which base on the platform of ADAMS and analyze the research and study of the sugarcane harvester. Besides, there are some guides to the real model through the parameter to the virtual model. The main purpose of the study includes: cutting down on period and cost of design, improving quality of production. The research will boost the study of sugarcane harvester by providing dependable techniques, which is significant for mechanized harvest of our country.First, this thesis deeply analyzed the software of ADAMS, particularly expounded the main function and the problems which need to be noticed of the ADAMS/View module and the ADAMS/Solver module. Besides, thisthesis had a systemic explanation to the calculation methods of ADAMS, all these moved up our understanding to ADAMS to a more deeply level. Second, according to the analysis of the sugarcane's physical characteristic, planting circumstance, planting landform and lodge circumstance, we designed every sort of parameters of the small-scale type sugarcane harvester. Basing on these, we designed the machine's support-sugarcane setup, chop-sugarcane setup, transportation setup and peel-leaves setup. More over, according to the transportation module and feeding module's numerical modeling and simulation, we knew the effects of every sort of parameters. Last, according to the practically research of sugarcane's planting circumstance, using different ADAMS constraints and the different design of constraint's parameters, we achieved the dummy simulation between sugarcane and physical reality.
