Sugarcane is one of the major economical crops in the south of China, and research in small-scale sugarcane harvester is very important of the automation of sugarcane production to sugarcane cultivation. This paper has proposed and designed a kind of small-scale sugarcane reaping machine which is suitable for the southern areas of our country, especially the ground form characteristic of Guangxi, to reduce labour intensity and losses of reaping .This paper has done some work for changing our coutry backward situation that sugarcane reap and raising mechanization competence of agriculture.Through actual measurement and data collection of sugarcane ground, and based on former reseach of some parts, This paper analysed scheme and the important parts , analysed some parts by using mechanics knowledge and finite element method, have proposed that actual modeling parametered, pattern and arrangement scheme, and structured the complete machine scheme of a kind of wheeled small-scale sugarcane reaping machine.After confirming the scheme, this paper established thethree-dimensional entity's model with PROE software according to the analysis of parameter and pattern, and assembled parts to integer according to overall arrangement and scheme, structured the entity model of the complete machine, and have received the size and weight of the parts and the complete machine.Parts , procedure and complete machine is checked on movement interfere, is analyzed on kinematics simulation and is optimized on structure and parameter through ADAMS software. Trough revising mutually between simulation and model, this paper received the virtual prototype model that optimized structure and corresponded to reality. This Thesis also matched rotational speed and power, predicted power, Gradeability etc. and simulated the working situation of the complete machine in different slope.Finally, this paper carried on the experiment lifting shelf-an important part of the model, and produced the two-dimentional project picture through the three-dimensional model, set up the physics prototype Of lifting shelf finally. Through determining and studying about the experiment Of lifting shelf, this paper have verified the feasibility of virtual prototype model, and laid a very good foundation in order to perfect the small-scale sugarcane reaping machine in further.
