The sugarcane is a kind of main economic crops in some provinces of the South of china, especially in Guangxi, the sugar industry is its pillar industry even more.In China,the farmer use the old craft homework to gather sugarcane at present, labour intensity is great, production efficiency is low. Present the sugarcane harvesters are all large-scale models abroad, suitable for widenning , smooth ground form , but in China,the large_scale models is not suitable.because in our country, sugarcane is planted on hills and hillside fields mostly.and is difficult to use large-scale machine to gather the sugarcane . In order to shorten the development cycle and reduce the cost of the development, use advanced designing technique to research and develop the small-scale sugarcane harvester which is suitable for hills and hillside is very realistic .Virtual prototype technology is a new technology in the field of design and manufacture. It makes the designer can carry on intact analysis to the whole system on design phase in the concept .In this paper,we introduces the virtual prototype technology in the research and development of the small-scale track type sugarcane combined harvester, and have finished the following work:1. Adopt module design philosophy, and use two kinds of different design methods ?from bottom to top and from top to bottom, and Pro/E , have finished the complete machine modeling of the small-scale track type sugarcane combined harvester, and at the same time, put forward three kinds of different scheme of the machine, then calculate the location of there CG and the max angle of resisted tumbles in dynamics emulation software ADAMS, also find out the most rational scheme among them.2. Jointly use Pro/E and ADAMS to make a virtual protoype modeling of support , cut down , feed function module of the machine, and regard it as the platform and carry on the emulation test to research the relation among the roate speed of spiral support device, install angle, the result of sugarcane prop up.and get some valuable result ;in the same way,research the relation amongthe location of the cutting device,the roate speed of spiral support device,the translating speed of the machine, through the treatment to emulation result, proposed that the relation among them is the linearity relations,and provide the returnexperience formula which express the relation between three; through the simulation of the logistics of the sugarcane, verify the small-scale rationality in logistics of the sugarcane of complete machine model of sugarcane harvester.3. Jointly use ANSYS,Pro/E, ADAMS to set up two different virtual prototype of the harvester shelf ,which is coupling with flexibility and rigidity, and carry on the normal mode analysis and force vibration analysis, find out there natural frequency and there frequency response. After compared the result, select the high rigidity one as the final scheme of harvester shelf.In a word, this text utilizes virtual prototype technology to research the complete machine modeling method,the working parameter and structure parameter of the harvester,and the dynamics characteristic of the harvester shelf deeply,and have got some parameter and conclusion which is worth for the research work in future.
