In view of the main questions of cultivating plug seedlings, this experiment used sweet pepper as material to investigate and study. The main results were as follows:1. The difference of germination ability and seedling quality were obvious among different treatments on seeds. The treatment of 60℃ for 1 hour was better than others, which had high germination ability and seedling quality on the 40th day. There was little difference in germination rates among all of the treatments.2. The effect of different s on grass, vermiculite and perlite on germination rates was slight, but obvious on seedling quality. The proportion of 6V:1V:3V or 60% peat was good for seedling quality.3. In the substrate there were no sufficient nourishment for seedling growth, so late fertilization was inevitable. Otherwise , the symptom of nourishment absence was obvious. Under 1000 mg/kg, with the increase of thickness, the seedling quality became better and better. When exceeding 1000 mg/kg, the accumulation of nourishment was serious. Filter irrigation with nourishment succus (0.05%) on two-leaf stage can decrease the accumulation and do favor of breeding healthy seedlings.4. Treatment of medicament can decrease the occurrence of diseases obviously. 800 times 15%Da ke ning, 800 times 50%Duojun ling, 800 times 50% Fu mei shuang, 800 times 30% Miao jun di and were all good for cataplexy and blight preventing. Among them, 800 times 30%Miaojun di was the best.5. Medicament regulation can control over growth of seedlings and improve seedling quality. Spraying with 30mg/kgPP333 on the time ofcotyledon spreading will minish leaf area, shorten section length.6. Hormone treatment can accelerate growth resuming of aging seedlings, especially with lO.Omg/kg GA3, which was better than CTK,IAAand Ai duo shou.
