In order to overcome traditional weakness of Codnopsis pilosula(Franch.)Naff.in practice, such as, too many leaves and stems preventing sunshine and wind from comeing; without scientific standards when fertilizing;previous researches being focused on one factor not whole growth etc. The experiment, which was done at Jingzhong Town, Zhangxian county where there is a GAP of TCM station owned to Lanzhou Foci Medincine Group Compony from April to November in 2003, studies on yield effects and dynamic changes and analyzes the dates with SPASS, the results are as follows: (1) Under the cubic cultivating methods, the weight of single fresh root, harvesting roots and the ratio of living seedlings are all higher than tranditional methods which is CK. Under the erect trellis, above indexes compared with CK increased by 48.8%,24.86%,12.23% and 71.48% respectively. Under the horizontal frame cultivation, the indexes increased by 36.01%,21.57%,11.26% and 6.67%. Under the cubic cutivating, the diameter of head and main root are all higher than CK,too.The head diameter under the erect trellis and horizontal frame individually increased by 11.7% and 3.8%, and the main root diameter individually increased by 6.0% and 6.0%. The tests of ANOVA shows that different cultivating methods are marked at the level of 0.01. The correlation analysis about the indexes shows the harvesting roots and the ratio of living seedlings is most important to improve yield and the single fresh weight is the more important factor.The correlation coeffients is 0.850 and 0.683 respectively.(2) Under different kinds of cultivation density and fetilizer weight, the treatment of 0.6 million roots / hm2 and 360 kg/ hm2 produces the largest diameter of head and main root body which are 1.33㎝and 0.98㎝ respectively. The treatment of 1.05 million roots / hm2 and 360 kg/ hm2 produces the largest dry and fresh ratio of diameter of head and main root body. Under the treatment of 1.05 million roots / hm2 and fertilizer weight 360 kg/ hm2, dry and fresh ratio and length of root are all largest among the 16 different kinds of treatments which are 0.36 and 28.65㎝.The result of ANVON tests show that different treatments have marked effects among the differences of groups. And the test of SSR leades to the result that the treatment of 1lion roots / hm2 and fertilizer weight 240 kg/ hm2 can produce the highest yied,7556.87㎏/hm2, among the whole experiment.At the same time, the regression equation about the yield(Y), the harvesting roots(X1),the ratio of living seedlings(X2)and the single weight of fresh root (X3)is: Y=4821.044+9.082×10-3X1-38.915X2-97.08X3The equation describes the relationship among the factors and can forcast yield in 95% interval. (3) The weight of leaves and stems'dynamic changes can be divided into three stages:the first stage is from the beginning of June to the middle of Agust;the second is from the middle of Agust to the middle of September;the third is from the middle of September to the end of October.At the first stage, the weight of leaves and stems grows daily slowly ;at the second stage, the daily growth rate is quickest; at the third stage,it begins to decrease. The weight of single root dynamic changes also can be divided into three stages:the first stage which is from the beginning of June to July is a slowly growing period of leaves and stems which growth rate is 29mg daily ,at the same time the roots begins to grow but the rate is very slowly.The second which is from the beginning of July to the middle of September is the emphasis of growing root but not leaves and stems, and the root can grow 90mg daily .At the third stage which begins the middle of September and finishes at the end of October the weight of leaves and stems decreases but the weight of root increases. And the growth rate of single root is most quickly, which rate is 112 mg daily.
