At present,the study on controling technique of disease and pest on garden plants was limited in the world,especially in the Seashore Saline-Alkali Region.the study was rare. Dongying is a city Shandong province,locating at the coast of Yellow River.There are many kinds of special urban landscape which has been adapted to accommodate the environment. And these plants have got many kinds of disease and pest. In order to make clear the category of disease and pest,and the law of occuring and there characteristics, furthermore employ effective measurements to control their spreading and keep the garden plants beautiful, a great deal of researching work was done, including comprehensive investigation of the disease and pest taking place on the plants at the area,doing the experiment about using some controlling methods to controlling them.I also read a lot of scientific data on disease and pest in urban landscape to learn some experiences. In the end, we completed all duties, and gained remarkable economic, ecological and social efficiencies. The main results are as follows:1. Aiming at the approriate stage of prevention and cure, the best controling measurements were found. For the first time in the local area, the category of the diseases and pests and part of their hosts were found out.The laws of occuring and characteristics of dominant varieties were cleared out. This provide theorical foundation for the maintainment and management of greenbelt.2. 16 kinds of high efficient pesticide were selected out, including four kinds of bio-medicamens.Using them in partly and privy way could lessen spraying times and protect the natural enemy, so the investment was reduced. In the same time, we investigated part of the natural enemy and got to know that as to the natural enemy of the Cnidocampa flavescens Walker was 22.4%. In the city or in Shandong province, this study was a one-up in the domain. The results using for practice could reduce the environmental pollution and secure persons, livestorks and plants.3. Ellworm was successfully used to control the villain pest of trunk, and the of preventing and curing effects was well. This reseaech was also a leading card in the craftbrother in the local area and even in Shandong province.4. The difficulties of the prevention and cure of the villain pest of trunk were overcome,and the best control measurements were found aming at the approriate stage of prevention and cure. Using 40% long efficient phosphous liquid 200X to irrigate from root looply was the best way, which could notonly save time, trouble and labors,but also the range of control pests waslarger and the environmental pollution was low.At the same time this protectedthe natural enemy.5. An feasible calendar table of the controling measurements for the dieasesand peats of urbn landscape in salty soil at the shore was summarized. Thetable was simply and convinent.lt was popularized in practice, greatlybenefited the economy, ecology and society.
