The present study was conducted to investigate the effect of Cecropin-AD dose on meat duck's performance ,development of immune apparatus,Main microflora That was in meat duck's intestines, main metabolize hormone content and serum biochemical parameters , compared with the effect of chlortetracycline ,studied the possibility of Cecropin-AD substituting antibiotic, the former was used as a high effect, safe and no wide harm feed additive ,in order to provide a theoretical basis for production and fill the blank in the use of Cecropin-AD at home.A total of 240 one-d-old ducks , which was similar in weigh which was not significant by tested ,were randomly assigned to 4 groups with 3 replicates which concluded 20 ducks. The comparison group was feed basal diet supplemented 59g Cecropin-AD /kg diet. The experiment groups were feed basal diet supplemented with 3L ,2L, 1L Cecropin-AD /kg diet respectively. The whole period included 49 days , and performance indexes were tested. 4 ducks were selected from each replicate for making serum sample to measure concentration of TP and BUN .AT The end of trial,2 ducks(one was male, one was female) were selected from each replicate for butchering to measure butchering performance and amount of colibacillusand and lactobacillus lacties from content in small intestines. The level of IGF-1,T3,T4 were measured by RIA. The resutT showed that: 1.Basal diet supplemented with Cecropin-AD can improve performance.Duckling period: ADG was same level between middle and high Cecropin-AD dose group and chlortetracycline group(P>0.05), ADF and F/G were no significantdifference between high dose group and chlortetracycline group(P>0.05).Middle period and whole trial period: ADF and F/G was not obvious different between groups and chlortetracycline group.2. Carcass qualityDressing percentage was not obvious different between high Cecropin-AD dose group and chlortetracycline group (P>0.05).Produced meat performance was significantly improved. The proportion of lean meat of carcass was not obvious different between experiment groups and...
