Aim to blindness fertilization of red Fuji apple, in order to reveal the rule of leaf and topsoil mineral elements of different yield orchard in different period and the relationship between leaf and topsoil mineral elements contents of different yield orchard, and find the suitable fertilization period of different fertilizer, so as to guide scientific fertilization of red Fuji apple, main mineral elements of red Fuji apple leaves and topsoil were determined in Fugangshanzhuang of Houjiazhuang country ,Neiqiu county from 2003 to 2004. The results were as follows:Under the soil condition of gneiss mountain area of Taihang mountain of Hebei province, N content of topsoil maintained above 0.15% in the whole year, its changing tendency was from the beginning to the middle of May declined slowly, affected by fertilization of May, there was apex of N content in the middle of June, that was above 0.28 %; there was very litter changes of leaves N content which maintained from 1.0% to 1.5 %in the whole year. There was a 15~45 days lag phase of effect of soil N content on leaf N content. Soil N contents in high yield orchard were higher than that of low yield orchard in the level of 5% or 1% in different period; leaf N contents in high yield orchard were significant higher than that of low yield orchard.Changes of topsoil P contents were gently in the trial orchard during the whole year, P contents were 0.2% ~0.3%, and in the state of scarce; but leaf P content changed sharply, it was the lowest in the middle of June that was only 0.04%, and in the middle of August it was the highest that was up to 0.18%; soil P content was affected by the absorption of the shoots; leaf P contents in high yield orchard were higher than that of low yield orchard in the level of 5% or 1% in different period.Changes of topsoil K contents were gently in the trial orchard during the whole year, K contents were 2.0%—2.8%, and they were declined slowly; so were the leaf K content which maintained 1.5%~2.3%, and the lag phase was about 15 days. There exited significant effects of soil K content in the first of May on leaf K content after 15~45 days. In the trial orchards soil K contents were all abundance, so there exited no significant correlation between soil and leaf K content and yield.Topsoil exchange Ca contents changed obviously in the trial orchard, its contents declined significantly in the period of root growth, the low valleys were from the beginning of May to the beginning of June and the middle of July, and its contents were...
