Classification And Spatial Varibility Of Forestry Land Site In Fujian Based On GIS

It is an object of study on forest and garden of Fujian in the research. According the principle of classification of site type and the association with the fact of Fujian,the predominant factors of site type have been theoretically choosed. The map of multi-factors of site type has been stacked up supported by GIS ,and then the classification of forestry site type has been automatically carried out in PC. With the data-base of productivity and the quality evaluation of forest land in Fujian and based on the analysis of landscape , the characteristic and the space pattern of the landscape of the forestry site type have been figures out and probed out .And then some rational advice is provided about adjusting measures to local conditions and persisting in using the resource of forestry and developing high effective forestry industry. The result showed that:(1)With the the predominant factors of aspect,slope,soil thickness and texture,the forest land of Fujian was divided into 43 site types,among which the dominance were south and plain slope-thick layer-clay, south and plain slope-medium layer-clay, half south facing and half north facing and mild slope-medium layer-clay, north and mild slope-thick layer-clay,which total area were 72.98% in the forest land.It were less than 10ha.including north and mild slope-thick layer-loam soik north and incline slope-thin layer-sandy soil and half south facing and half north facing and incline slope-thin layer-sandy soil.(2)The six site types including north and mild slope-thick layer-loam soik south and plain slope-medium layer-clay,and so on ,were high quality and its'the index of complex quality from 0.70 to 0.98,it's productivity of climate from 2150 to 2224 g/m~2.a.The thirteen site types including north and incline slope-thick layer-clays north and incline slope-mild layer-clay,and so on, were median quality and its'the index of complex quality from 0.50 to 0.70,it's productivity of climate from 1999 to 2117g/m~2.a.The twenty-four site types including north and steep slope-thick layer-clay,...
