Study On The Pests And Natural Enemies Of Community Structure And Integrated Pest Management On Seedless Ponkan (Citrus Reticulate Blanco) In Suining County Of Hunan Province

Seedless Ponkan(Citrus reticulate Blanco) is a kind of subtropics everygreen fruit tree, which has a thick sweet taste, crisp and tender pulp texture, beautiful appearance, and seedless.It is popular in the market, which becomes one of the support industries of crops in Suining county of Hunan province. But the pests seriously restrict the production and the development of seedless Ponkan in our province. It basically found out the occurrence and harmful situation about the pests and natural enemies after 2 years' investigation .There were about 45 kinds of pests, belonged to 2 Class 6 Order 23 Family. The main pest of seedless Ponkan is citrus tlatheaded borer(Agrilus auriventris Saund ).There were about 57 kinds of natural enemies in seedless Ponkan gardens in Suining county (not include birds, Batrachia, etc.).The natural enemies are mostly insects and spiders. About 33kinds of natural enemy insects, there are 26 kinds of predacity insects, which account for 46.3%of all natural enemy categories. There are 20 kinds of spiders, mostly wander-hunt kinds, which more than spin spiders. It found out that 40% Supracide^TM was quite good for controlling citrus flat-headed borer. Moreover, suggestions about the Integrated Pest Management of seedless Ponkan and development on non-polluted production were given.
