Nowadays, Bamboo processed industry of Our homeland have been most quickly expanding and growing because of having good social and economic benefit and better entironment protection significance, that would bring along the exploitation and use of bamboo resource. As a whole, although bamboo resource of our homeland is very abundant, it is little according to average possessive quantity. Furthermore, on the one hand there is some bamboo resource not or not suitable to be exploited, for geographic status and distribution and bamboo species etc;on the other hand, just now the extensive management pattern about bamboo resource of our homeland possesses chief section, that people get a lot from the nature but people's devotion for the nature is so little, this pattern is making bamboo resource be expended quickly and inefficiently, so bamboo resource would not renew in effect. It is necessary that speeding up regeneration of bamboo resource and enhancing utilized rate of earth, for avoiding following the developed industry country's former mode of fathering after development, and insuring the credible base of our homeland bamboo industry progress, and promoting the application and health progress of our homeland bamboo resource, along with more and quickly consuming bamboo resource. So, The Process of developing the machine that digging and cutting bamboo root was described in this paper.The research of this paper as followed:1. The rapid progress in exploitation and application of Chinese bamboo products was expatiated roundly now. The essentiality that changing extensive management pattern about bamboo resource and intensifying scientific management of bamboo resource and enhancing utilized ratio of earth was pointed out. The status and distributing of Chinese bamboo resource were introduced. The biology character of bamboo's growth and the bad or good condition of bamboo's health standing speediness growth were described. Bamboo root that bamboo was hewn to leave behind would rot in several years in the earth, so it would block growth of bamboo underground roots if not be cleaned out in short time. Then rapid comeback and progress of bamboo resource would be influenced, and utilized rate of earth would also fall. Now, although there was some research on roots graband gardens transplanter, there was nothing in research on bamboo roots grab. Besides, bamboo roots digged out could be used. Therefore research and design about bamboo roots grab would have important significance.2. Primary design research and feasibility analysis about some projects on digging out bamboo root grab had been made. After synthetically comparing every project, one project that has a best feasibility and economy was chosen.3. The pawl type bamboo roots grab was designed. Pulley gear, worm gears, cylinder, bearing base and quadrate pole etc were designed and checked. According to the parameters of some primary parts, a virtual sample machine mode would be founded, by structure and optimization design for whole machine through 3D image software. After checking performance of sample assembly and interference by making virtual mode into Pro/Engineer software platform, structure process performance of machine would improve. In the end, a more useful sample machine was completed.4. Digging out roots by project partiality driving vibration was discussed. Optimizing experimentation guide line of this project and having educed parameter that evidently influencing effect of digging out root through designing project and test.
