In 2017,commercial logging of natural forests was banned in China,and domestic timber resources were in short supply,and bamboo could be a good substitute for wood in papermaking.Yibin City,Sichuan Province vigorously developed the development and utilization of bamboo and wood resources,and planted it on a large scale.However,when bamboo is harvested,Remained bamboo roots caused problems such as squeezing land and preventing new bamboo growth,which reduced the output value of bamboo forests.The current removal methods were mostly manual excavations,which had reduce work efficiency and high labor intensity,which was difficult to satisfy the needs of current large-scale planting.Therefore,based on the actual production,a bamboo root removal machine was researched.The research process was as follows: First,the production environment of the plantation site was investigated to identify some problems in the current production process and the functions that the machine needs to achieve.After reviewing the literature,the author learned the beforehand research of this kind of machinery and understand the difference between Sichuan tufted bamboo species and Zhejiang mao bamboo,and formulate the design requirements of bamboo root removal machinery.Based on the TRIZ theory in mechanical design methodology,six schemes of bamboo root removal machinery were designed,and then the six schemes were scored and optimized.After clarifying the design plan,the structural design of the machine was completed: the selection of the gasoline engine,the design of the cutter structure,the design of the gearbox structure,and other transmission structures were completed,as well as the structural design of the hand held actuator,the shock-absorbing piggyback structure,and the soundproof cover structure design.Then the author used SolidWorks to 3D model each part.Using ANSYS software,static analysis was performed on the cutting tool structure for cutting work,and the tool was optimized for technological design.Modal analysis was performed on the carrier and hand held actuator,and the structure was optimized based on the analysis results.The study provided a complete mechanical design for solving the problem of bamboo root occupation of clustered bamboo species in a woodland environment.The crushing efficiency of this machine for bamboo roots will reach 20 s / piece,which can reduce manual investment and reduce labor intensity.This machine can promote the development of large-scale planting of bamboo and wood,and add strength to the economic development of bamboo and wood in Yibin City.The machine can also be used for other bamboo root removal work,and has a broad spectrum of application capabilities.Therefore,the machine has very good application value and market value.
