The thesis found on the force which on the wheat root cutting machine, based on the serial communication between microcontroller and PC, designed the wheat root-cutting machine operate parameter measuring system with assemble language and VB, realized the real time measure to the resistance of the wheat root cutting and velocity. It has signification meaning to the reliability of the wheat root-cutting machine.The system departed into microcontroller data collection and communicate subsystem and PC data communicate and analysis subsystem.The design to microcontroller data collection and communicate subsystem include hardware design and software design, adopt blocking design, fulfill the function as following: the transition of analog signals, which is the operation resistance force and speed of wheat root-cutting machine, to digital signals; the digital data's storage, display, transmission to the PC. The hardware design selected the suitable sensor, microcontroller, A/D converter, memorizer, display circuitry, etc. and formed a whole hardware system; the software design included the programme design of the A/D converter block, data storage block, data display block data transmission block, system control block, realized the preconcerted function. During the research process, the anti-jamming problem was fully considered.The juncture between microcontroller data collection and communicate subsystem and PC data communicate and analysis subsystem is serial communicate port and programme based on the RS-232 standard. The data transmit form microcontroller to PC through serial communicate port. PC data communicate and analysis subsystem take Visual Basic as development language, accomplished the function of the data sink, storage, plot, statistics, variance analysis, etc. The interface uses the Microsoft Windows human-computer interface, the advantage is friendly, easy to learn and use, fast function speed, high calculate accuracy.The field tests are about the root cutting shovel's four parameters, wing-open angle 2γ, smash-soil angleβ, entering soil angleα, breadth B. Through the variance analysis, the result is the four parameters are all highly remarkable, the order is breadth B, smash-soil angleβ, entering soil angleα, wing-open angle 2γ; at the selected range the interface effect between breadth and entering soil angle is normally remarkable, the breadth and wing-open...
