Face the education reform nowadays, reforming the traditional classroom teaching is becoming an inevitable trend. The discover teaching is an important way that can help the student develop their creative mind and practical ability, which agree with the notion of quality education, has become a hot topic.This article defines some basic concept about the discover teaching method, describes the progress of the academic research, and further moreit, is very important to make many field researches by myself, to perform the principle of discover teaching in classroom ,to try my best to find out the course of nature.The article absorbed a lot of theories of the discover teaching and practical results,in order to finish my research,I had an extractive investigate ,and did experiment in two class,which adopted two different teaching ways.The discover teaching was used in both one class and the traditional teaching way was used in another class.The discover teaching was used in the theory course and the practical course. The discover teaching was first used in the Biostatistics course in 2004.After two years, the experiment was over.The research results are as follows:The discover teaching is a good teaching way for Biostatistics course, and something is better than the traditional teaching way, it made the students improve their skills actually and become more creative and more powerful.On the other hand, The discover teaching project make the teachers are enthusiastic, creative and committed to the children they teach, It offers teachers a chance to:· Connect with kids who have limited educational opportunities.· Explore new ways of teaching and learn about their craft.· Collaborate with other classmates .
