Potatoes have higher nutritive value and extensive use, which is an important grain dish and concurrently using crops. Nowadays China is the largest potato producing country in the word, and popularity of virus-eliminating seed is about 15%~20%. There are a few of research reports about potato yield-free, when research reports on potato were many. Therefore, this experiment mostly analyzed growth law, compared yield, and studied photosynthesis character and nutrition absorption and distribution systemically of different virus-free potato generation; aim at clarifying the physiological foundation of potato yield-increasing.1. Growth law of different virus-free potato generation has notable difference. Potato original seed grew stronger and commercial potato grew weaker. Plant height of original seed was higher by 15.87%, stem diameter was bigger by 11.28%, sheaths fresh weight was heaver by 19.33% and leaves fresh weight was heaver by 15.29% than commercial potato when harvest. But the difference of original seed, basic seed and productive seed was small.2. The content of nitrogen phosphorus potassium in different virus-free potato organs reduced with growth, and the absorption of different generation was different significantly. Nitrogen absorption of potato basic seed, original seed, productive seed and commercial potato was 222.94, 232.32, 219.52 and 147.50 mg/plant respectively, phosphorus absorption was 187.55, 210.12, 198.83 and 135.29 mg/plant respectively, potassium absorption was 326.72, 351.96, 345.05 and 238.06 mg/plant respectively.3. The difference of absorption rate of different virus-free potato generation was relatively small at seedling stage and stems and leaves formation stage, but the absorption rate of commercial potato was lower than others at tube expanding stage significantly, which was1.91, 2.05and 3.25 mg/d·plant respectively, lower by 53.21%, 39.70% and 43.09% than original seed respectively, and other three treatments differed little relatively.
