Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Type 2 Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy With Yiqi Huoxue Method

Objective: To observe the clinica effect and safety of therapy supplementingqi and activating blood circulation on diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) intype2diabetic patients.Methods: The45patients of the research from the department of endocrinologyaffiliated hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,werein accord with the diagnostic criteria of DPN. All of the patients were givenbasic trearment,including diabetes education,contral blood glucose and bloodpressure、regulate blood fat and so on. Combined with the traditional Chinesemedicine of Mudan granule in the treatment of DPN.To observe the clinical effectafter treatment for two weeks,four weeks and eight weeks. In the end of the8weeks,compared with the clinical data(including clinical symptoms and signs)ofthe patients,and the main laboratory data (including liver function,renalfunction) before and after treatment.Results:1.The total effect rate increased from88.00%to95.00%gradually,there wassignificant difference,(P﹤0.05).2. The integral of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms:after the treatment,clinical symptoms were well alleviated, by(24.60±2.89) gradually decreasedto (14.36±3.13), which was confirmed by mixed model analysis the correlationeffect,there was a positive correlation with the clinical effect and thetreatment time.3.The experiment was conducted in the whole process,45patients were no adverseevents.Conclusion:1.Treatment of supplementing qi and activating blood circulation of Mudangranule,significantly relieved numbness,pain,coldness and other symptoms of theDPN patients,and improved the quality of lives of patients. 2.The clinical effect of the trial is improved with the extension of time.3.The drug has no obvious adverse events,able to relieve the pain of patients,sothat patiensts may be easy to accept the treatment for the long time.
